He is briefed by Major Monogram (Jeff "Swampy" Marsh) about his mission, receives new gadgets by Carl (Tyler Alexander Mann), and rides off in his rocket car. Perry the Platypus reports to his lair and dons his secret agent persona, Agent P. The film opens with Phineas ( Vincent Martella), Ferb ( Thomas Sangster), Candace ( Ashley Tisdale), Perry, a.k.a. It later gained over 3 million viewers to become the second best Animated Basic Cable Telecast Ever in Kids 6-11 and Tweens 9-14 and Cable's fifth best Movie Ever in Total Viewers. The film received positive reviews and its premiere averaged 7.6 million viewers, making it one of the highest-rated animated programs on cable in more than three years. It is the first feature-length film of the Phineas and Ferb series, and the fourth animated Disney Channel Original Movie. It was first announced by Jeff "Swampy" Marsh during a January 2010 interview with the Daily Telegraph. The film premiered Augon Disney Channel, August 13 on Disney XD, August 20 on ABC, as well as On Demand starting August 1, and on the Disney Cruise Line starting August 18.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension (also known as Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension in Fabulous 2D) is a Disney Channel Original Movie based on the TV series Phineas and Ferb. Thankgoodness we got a sequel episode in the series' season 4 and a second movie 9 years later.Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension P&F fans are rewarded especially towards the end while newcomers will surely want to watch the entire series. Sure, it's no longer as exciting as I remember due to the fact that I am now a young adult but still, this movie delivers. Now, I can safely say that, except for the crush on Isabella part, I still feel the same toward the series and "Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension".
From the beginning, set up, songs, plot, Isabella kissing Phineas and, of course, the best third act for a Phineas and Ferb fan. To the 10 year old me, this movie exceeded my expectations. Back then, I was a huge Phineas and Ferb fan, I was annoyed (but unaware why) when they aired too many replays of past episodes, I had a huge crush on Isabella and I was excited that Doofenshmirtz will finally meet Phineas and Ferb. I was a 10 year old kid who was so excited to see it. I first saw this movie when it first premiered in Disney Channel Asia.
